BGM coupling pinions are bullet proof. Developed for the enormous power and torque of today's engines, they are made of a high-alloy steel (SCM415 / 15 CrMo 5) to the highest manufacturing standards. The enormously high strength of the base material (up to 1100N/mm2, HRC 58-62) provides a reassuringly safe basis for the production of BGM pinions.

The production meets the high standard of Honda's gearbox production. Every single part receives a test report. BGM thus has a permanent continuous quality assurance.

Characteristic feature of the BGM sprockets is their black colouring as well as the practical inscription indicating the number of teeth the sprocket itself has and for which primary gear it is suitable.

Longer transmission ratio without disassembling the motor ?
The pinion with 23 teeth is particularly interesting. It was never originally delivered from the factory. It is intended to extend the gear ratio of the 80-150ccm as much as possible. So you can use a 23/67 or 23/68 ratio without having to open the engine. Ideal for all riders of high capacity cylinders on e.g. the original PX125 or Sprint 150 engines. It even fits the Vespa Cosa models, because without exception a (too short) reduction of 21/68 was installed ex works. The reduction ratio is increased by 15%, which corresponds to the same increase of the final speed in km/h.
