RMS Vespa PX PE Input Shaft Assembly 12-13-17-21

The input shaft is also known as the lay shaft or the half axle. Together, the primary driven cog and the primary driven gear cogs make up the primary drive assembly. The set of gear cogs make up the smaller half of the secondary drive gear ratio assembly. The main difference between the various shafts available is the length and diameter of the bearing and bush or the differing number of teeth on each cog.

 

 

This RMS Vespa PX PE input shaft assembly is engineered to restore smooth gear engagement across 12, 13, 17, and 21-tooth configurations. When Piaggio's original supply became limited, we sourced premium-quality replacements from trusted specialist manufacturers to keep your classic Vespa running reliably. The shaft features precision-riveted gear cog clusters bonded to the primary driven gear assembly, ensuring durability that matches OEM standards. Whether you're maintaining a vintage GT/GL, Super, or modern PX model, this component delivers the performance your scooter deserves.
