MEC EUR replacement carburettor securing nut for Vespa Sprint, Rally, Super, PX and PE models.

This carburettor securing nut is used to securely fasten the carburettor in position on compatible Vespa engines. It is an ideal replacement for an original nut that has become damaged, worn or lost during previous servicing.

Manufactured by MEC EUR, this replacement is suitable for Vespa maintenance, engine rebuilding and restoration work.

🛠️ Why Replace the Carburettor Securing Nut?

The carburettor securing hardware is a small but important part of the Vespa engine assembly. The carburettor needs to be held securely against its mounting surface, and damaged or incorrect hardware should not be overlooked during an engine rebuild.

Original nuts can become worn or damaged after years of repeated removal and refitting. They can also be missing altogether on scooters that have previously been worked on.

Exhaust is scratched with no new protective layer especially on stainless steel can. Asked for a refund, swap or partial refund of some money back. Not heard nothing. Want to just fit my new exhaust and be happy with my product. Exhaust still sat in broken box on the side. Banking on a response to solve the problem. Looking unlikely and may have to start seeking help for citizens advice. Not impressed and won’t be recommending or using again with the scooter scene down South

Contacted and still no reply. Quick response when purchasing but ever since I’ve had an issue, nothing. £307 exhaust with paid delivery. Received as shown. Exhaust is scratched with no new protective layer especially on stainless steel can. Asked for a refund, swap or partial refund of some money back. Not heard nothing. Want to just fit my new exhaust and be happy with my product. Exhaust still sat in broken box on the side. Banking on a response to solve the problem. Looking unlikely and may have to start seeking help for citizens advice. Not impressed and won’t be recommending or using again with the scooter scene down South
