MEC EUR Vespa Sprint Rally Super PX PE & T5 Brass Clutch Shim, designed for use with a range of classic Vespa large-frame engines.

A quality replacement brass clutch shim, used to correctly set the clutch assembly and take up the required clearance where necessary.

Manufactured by MEC EUR, this brass shim is ideal for use during a Vespa engine rebuild, clutch overhaul or general maintenance. Clutch shims are an important part of correctly assembling the clutch and ensuring the components are fitted with the appropriate clearance.

🔧 Key Features

  • Quality MEC EUR replacement part
  • Brass clutch shim
  • Designed for classic Vespa large-frame engines
  • Used when assembling and setting up the clutch
  • Helps achieve the correct clutch assembly clearance
  • Ideal for engine rebuilds and clutch overhauls
  • Suitable for restoration projects and general maintenance

🛠️ Why Choose This Part?

When rebuilding a Vespa engine or servicing the clutch, small components such as the clutch shim can be easily overlooked. However, using the correct shim can be important when setting up the clutch assembly and ensuring the components are correctly positioned.

This MEC EUR brass clutch shim is a quality replacement part, making it ideal for replacing a worn, damaged or missing original shim during an engine rebuild or clutch overhaul.

A useful component to keep on hand when rebuilding classic Vespa engines, particularly when checking and setting the clutch assembly correctly.

Contacted and still no reply. Quick response when purchasing but ever since I’ve had an issue, nothing. £307 exhaust with paid delivery. Received as shown. Exhaust is scratched with no new protective layer especially on stainless steel can. Asked for a refund, swap or partial refund of some money back. Not heard nothing. Want to just fit my new exhaust and be happy with my product. Exhaust still sat in broken box on the side. Banking on a response to solve the problem. Looking unlikely and may have to start seeking help for citizens advice. Not impressed and won’t be recommending or using again with the scooter scene down South
